Ok – so I’m slightly bias but here is an up and coming company I truly believe in. Resonant Venture Partners is an Ann Arbor based venture capital firm focusing on early-stage technology investments. The firm launched its first fund in July 2010 and is looking to invest in advanced computing and device technologies in the life sciences, advanced manufacturing and materials, IT, alternative energy, and homeland security and defense sectors.
The firm is run by two former Wolverine Venture Fund Alumni, Michael Godwin and Jason Townsend. Both spent time as Managing Director of WVF and have amazing backgrounds in technology, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. Michael and Jason are two of the smartest guys I’ve meet at Ross, and they have surrounded themselves with an all-star advisory board at Resonant.
